Glad Coumo took matters into hands when the feds were wondering what to do. . WOW,,you mean like back in 2015 ,,when the head of nys health dept. told Cuomo we had 2000 ventilators,,and we should have at least 16000 on hand and he decided it was more important to name a bridge after his daddy?

Walleyed, do you have tp in Ny yet? Heck Yeah, I'm FLUSH with toilet paper here. Bought a 24 Roller in January before the"Rush to Flush" and that usually lasts about four months. Once the Panic started, I saw a 12 pack of Scott tissue at ALDI and snapped it up. I'm good to go !!!! w

I think I heard on the morning news over 2000 first first responders in New York city are sick these are the ones that are going to save lives cops, emts, fireman. Glad Coumo took matters into hands when the feds were wondering what to do. Wyoming jumped on things early and closed schools, businesses non essential and even medical services. I think we are at about 100 cases and no deaths. Governor and health dept took some criticism but paying off so far. Finally broke down and went to the store 90 percent of folks wearing masks and some gloves. A lot of cowboy bandannas but better than nothing. Apples and oranges comparison there. New York has the 4th highest population while Wyoming is the least populated state. Our Governor has been on the national news for what he has done and Trump has mentioned him at least a couple times in his pressers. I'm not saying what our governor is doing is 100% right but we don't have high numbers. At least not yet. He is now saying we will probably peak at the end of the month, first of May.

92,381 Confirmed Positive Cases in NYS as of 4/2/2020. 2,373 Dead so far.
Positive Cases in my Jefferson County went from 14 to 16 in the last two hours.
My Pharmacy in Pulaski, NY. Oswego County had one of their associates test positive for Covid-19 and has been interacting with customers since march 26th. I've been there twice since then to pickup meds, etc.
Not good.

Walleyed, aren't most of those cases in the citys though? I live on my little ten acres, and nothing abnormal here, unless I go to town, which I avoid at almost all costs! Yes, for the most part. None of the Counties contiguous to my county have more than 37 cases. 3 in Lewis County. 21 in Oswego County. 37 in St, Lawrence County. All rural counties. Problem being that people from New York City, Westchester County, Long Island counties are all fleeing the city as "virus refugees" and going to their 2nd or 3rd Homes in the Adirondacks, or Saint Lawrence River, Or Lake Ontario and dragging the virus north when they come where our infrastructure hospitals, and clinics can't handle the overflow of sickened people. Cuomo's trying to coerce Upstate hospitals into accepting virus sickened patients from NYC due to their Hospitals being overwhelmed. Local people are now all wearing facemasks, latex gloves, and I've even seen people donning PPE gowns while they grocery shop, or post office, or gas stations. We're going to get hit bad when some virus carrying Covid-19 migrant tourist from NYC. spreads the virus through our small towns as It will be very bad. w

Conservation 101 the most crowded marsh will have the biggest loss numbers in a time of sickness. Not making fun of anything just pointing out the similarities of it.

How can a guy living in WY be more familiar with the situation in the state of NY than the people who live there?

Yep, I had that same thought yesterday... you name the sickness and the animal susceptible to it will die in any given area. It has been proven and studied by Dr. Paul Errington, with rat populations and you can usually follow the spread back to within feet of the source. I have seen the same with the over crowding of coon in an area. One gets distemper, everyone in that wooded area will get it within days if not a couple of weeks. Garry-

How can a guy living in WY be more familiar with the situation in the state of NY than the people who live there? He most likely sleeps at a Motel 6, in Cheyenne or Laramie, I'm guessing.
