Should I dry and grind my rat glands when adding them to my bait. Or should I mix them wet and then add them?

I would suggest grinding them to a paste and blend with some glycerin > SB + an ounce of MP. From there you can do what you want whenever you decide to use them

.If you can't decide just send them to us and we will take care of that dilemma.

Those frozen glands may have freezer burnt some depending upon how they were handled prior to freezing. For all purposes they should be fine for your use.

I would think they would OK with minimal odor loss. If some come out tan / bleached colored after thawing they have got scorched from the freezer frost. All glands will in time develop some freezer burn damage. The more loosely packed they are the more potential for frosting exists. Frosting will change the odor and gland color. I found a big jar of coyote glands that got lost in the freezer for several years. I processed them for my own use but can say that they have changed considerably in odor and color after processing them.

Will have to see how they smell and look after some aging this year.

The rat glands wont age in the ever clear due to the high alcohol content. They will be preserved and you will get some gland tincturing within the liquid over time.
