Some people just don't get it. You try to be self sufficient, and the government out of nowhere bans you from working. That is about as left wing as I can imagine. I can see that you can't be counted on for support, until it starts to affect you directly. I've got a feeling that could be soon enough.

You can get $10,000 each and it doesn't need to be paid back. We filled one out because we have some vacation rentals and this might make this summer a bust. We didn't check the box for the 10k because we haven't lost much yet. We also have no employees.

I think we all get it. The current climate we're in stinks and is unprecedented. We all have had to adapt and improvise to some degree. Today for instance, it's Easter, I won't get to see my youngin's, I miss them. I won't get to see my Sisters and friends, I miss them. It ain't cool for sure but I am thankful we are all healthy.

If you and your Lady are healthy, build on that. I always tell myself to pitch out the things I can't control because the more time you focus on what upsets you, the less time your allocating to fix what you can. Hope this was helpful.

Trex, not sure if it's a true grant or shadowed over loan. If it is a grant which you don't have to pay back this could be of use for both you and your wife. I would hope it's available to yous as small business folks so directly affected like yourselves are the ones I would like to see get a little help. Either way, read the details before applying!! As far as I can tell the only two loans available are the Economic Injury Disaster Loan, and Payroll Protection Program.

The EID needs to be repaid, and the PPP applies 75% to payroll. Unless you are talking about something I haven't discovered yet; these offer me no help.
