Pulled last week it’s turkey time now just not worth it. How much are turkeys worth? About $3.00 a shot if it's good ammo.

2 more days and season is over. I will pull late on the 12th. I will probably profit more from this batch than the fall beaver since gas is less than half as expensive.
Wish I had more time to trap....

Sounds like you spent more time driving than trapping, lol. Or he's got a serious gas leak! At current gas prices here in Wisconsin, I could drive almost 5,000 miles in my truck for $270.

That’s the down side of beavers here in the flatlands few beavers are here and there, this place has the beaver but it’s a hour away, the closer place that has a lot of beaver they are useless ones red with patchy guard hair. Often 30 miles to the next good beaver spots.
The frosting on the cake is we get poor castors mostly #2 no #1 full ones just don’t get the good stuff here the upside is we get blondes and lighter colored one on the creek I’m on. I still like trapping them they just are not worth it at the current market just a fact last offer was $5 a pound put up for the hatter market the can sit in my freezer for that price.
