Here is the end of season catch of the lynx and wolverines was a good year for them not so much so for the marten, fox and otter. It was nice to have snow problem was we had lit of SNOW . I don't ever remember being stuck and needing the shovel as much as I did this year. However it was fun [Linked Image]

Todd,

Always remember, there is NEVER THE EXACT RIGHT AMOUNT OF SNOW.

There is either not enough (can't get around, or tearing up suspensions when we go anyway....) or there is too much (always getting stuck...!)

Trappers are never happy with the amount of snow! No middle ground!

Pete

Looking good! I am sure you and your grandson had a blast at it this season.

Nice! Glad you were able to get to your main line, this year. Looks like it paid off.

Made it almost 3 years without censor!

Nice looking fur. What exactly will he fish boss make with the wolverine? I thought that DLG area always had plenty of fox. We're their numbers down? Has this winter more "normal" than the last few warm years? Interior has seen a colder winter/spring than the last few years.
Does the fish boss have anyone to pass the sewing customs on to?

MT outside the city limits the fox numbers were down I had places I normally catch a doz fox only produce 3 -4 and others that produce half a dozen produce none . We have seen an upswing of them stinky coyotes I got two should have had one more but somedays I just don't shoot as straight as I should . This year was much more normal. As for the wolverines I know I get a new hat other than that she will decide most likely seal and wolverine hats and ruff parts but she really makes very few ruffs just not her thing. We have a daughter and two daughter in laws they all three use our scraps for a variety of things and we have two grand daughters that are currently learning to sew with fur
