I'm working on a house right now that has coons. The first day I did not find anything under the house and didn't hear any babies, so I set on the outside and caught two males. I left them out the next night just to be sure that was it, but they still heard noises under the house. I blocked the hole up with a trap and had nothing for two days with them still hearing noises. The next day I found one baby up in the insulation, and could see the female walking in the plastic. I took the baby and put it in the back of the trap thinking she would come after him, but still nothing. The noise stopped once I took the baby, but i still havent caught the mom. Anyone have any ideas on what I should do next? I have never had this many problems. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a camera you can leave down there to see if there is still anything down there?

If possible, use good trail cameras, a fiber optic camera / viewer, and a thermal image camera / viewer.
Use a FoxPro caller with raccoon kit distress sounds.

Give it time. She will come out eventually as long as you have the only opening set with a positive sets sometimes it can take a week or so

Is this a trailer house you are referring to having plastic under it? We don't take those jobs any more if it is. Found out many moons ago they cant be fixed for very long. Everything moves into those homes in time and they keep coming back.

If it is a frame house that is another story.

NE - by saying give it time are you suggesting patience? Patience is one of the most difficult concepts for customers. In my first, second, and third conversation with the customer I tell them that the animals decide when to move. Yes, sometimes they can be pushed. Anyway, some customers ask why no animal in every trap the first day. So we again review the basics which includes patience.
