American packers are shutting down plants to deliberately create a shortage at the store and put independent beef pork and chicken producers out of business. You really want to support that?

I agree with all of you.
Before I buy anything, I will be checking all labels. If it comes from China or they are involved in any way, I won't buy it. That's sort of the point here, there are no labels. But it's also not as cut and dry as some lead you to believe. I'm talking beyond just meat. Clothing and anything else that comes from China. Some packaged edibles such as fish, chicken, etc have labels. Aldis have some salmon. If you read enough of the label, I found they were raised in Chinese fish ponds. That's a horror story I watched on TV one night. Trust me, you don't want to eat their pond-raised salmon!
Must be nice to eat ice cream as fast as you want and not have to worry about brain freeze.

I’m confused please enlighten me if we as consumers boycott Chinese goods does that mean that farmers, ranchers and everyone else selling and promoting products to China are going to stop and not sell to them? No one is talking about boycotting goods. We are talking about accurate labeling so that the American consumer can accurately choose what to eat. Additionally, foreign nations should not be allowed to own ANY companies involved with the food supply, infrastructure, medical care, etc. For example when you see beef in the store that says "product of the USA" its a lie. American beef might make up less than a 1/4 of that pound of burger, who knows. The rest is trash from South America, or Africa where the health standard are poor and they have foot and mouth disease which would devastate our herds here in the USA.

LOL one big issue you are forgetting is THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE PACK of meat in the grocery so if you want it you better buy it no matter where it died.

China and Brazil own huge percentages of USA meat processing so if you don't want to buy any meat from China you won't buy meat processed in their plants or from the USA feed lots where they own the cattle.
Bryce I agree with this. And this. Americans need to know, and they should purchase USA when they can afford it. We don’t make much of anything in this country, and we’ll lose it if we don’t support each other. IMO
