My thoughts exactly. What if that was a paycheck? Sounds like the kind of bank that doesn't accept loose change.

Bank is lying. They want time to let the check clears to be sure they dont cash any forgeries. They dont want you to be offended and quit using them. Kinda like prepay gas only they are trying to hide the fact they are treating you like a thief.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Change banks, there's no reason for that. They probably just didn't have the cash.

I've seen one neighbor have a new couch delivered that wouldn't fit through the door.
Another neighbor bought a new minibike for a bunch of teenage kids to tear around on.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

the bank is Wells Fargo. I've fired them 4 or 5 times. But, it is just a matter of time before they buy out my new bank.

My bank is WF also, suppose to be direct deposit on the sixth. Be interesting to see if they try and hold part of a direct deposit.
