N. Y. also. Land traps no more than 5 3/4" inside jaws. Might get some MB650ILs. With inside lamps, they're just legal.

What makes the design so good also limits the size it can be in Indiana since one of the measurements they go by is post to post . Looks like it's 7 1/2 inches, bummer. Looks like I have to stick to the 550s.

The major complaint I have seen here with the 550’s is thin metal in the jaws and pan. How do the 650’s look in that regard??
Thanks all

I'm running by West Point in the next week or two to pick me up a couple dozen. I'm ready to put them in the ground!

The only problem that I have had is a couple of the levers got a slight twist, in my opinion it is the only thin and weak part on them. With that being said I contacted Duke traps and about an hour later Bill Duke himself said that they had made thicker levers and to send him an email this summer and he would send me replacements free of charge. It's hard to beat that kind of customer service. Oh and Happy Birthday Beav

I would have to say that I own a dozen of the Duke 550s and I have noticed a significant difference in the strength of the springs versus the springs on the MBs. That could be one reason the levers are twisting some. Overall, great trap though!

I got my 12 Duke 650s In the mail today great looking trap. It has a 1/4" offset and I can't measure them because I can't set them. LOL
I might have to take off the helper springs so this old man can set them.

I'll ask again, have they been tested on a working trapline, if so what changes were made???
