Yesterday day after returning from getting the mail my wife asked what we received. I said the telephone bill and a credit card solicitation. A couple hours later my wife says the “credit card solicitation “ was our stimulus or Economic Impact Payment Card.
I am posting this as a warning to everyone who has not received a direct deposit or a check in the mail that their stimulus will be coming in an envelope that looks very similar to a credit card solicitation. Nothing on the outside of envelope suggested it was from IRS or any other government organization.
The envelope return address was from Money Network Cardholder Services, Omaha Ne.
I definitely was not happy about getting a Debit card instead of direct deposit or a paper check. I don’t like the idea of carrying $2400 around in the form of a debit card. I did find out that I can make a one time transfer at my bank to deposit these funds into my bank account which is what I will do.
Before anyone says they didn’t have my information I have lived in the same house since 1976 and have had same bank account since 1969.

Some of the satellite TV places like to disguise envelopes as non-ad looking birthday cards and other things with no info on the outside to get a person to open it.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

I was taking out the trash and at the same time checked the mail box. Same old junk mail along with some advertisement flyers just like small news papers. I was about to toss those flyers In the trash when I thought I better look Inside. And low and behold there was our stimulus check neatly nestled between those pages..

If I was you I'd take it to the local gun shop & see what you come home with. I don't have a wife, but still came home with a Model 1911 & a Model 10 Smith. I was stimulated.
