Well, finally got around to opening my box of MB450’s. First impression, miniature MB550, lol. Just as solid and seems to be built like a tank. Pan tension is right around 3#. Good solid night latch and pan seems to sit just at jaw level or even a little below. Going to have to get a few cleaned up and set them just to see how they hold up. Appreciate those that shared their experience with these traps, I believe these will work out just fine.

I'm sure you'll love em sir, great mixed species trap. Small enough for Greys and coon and hold yotes fine..

The ones I had where great, never had one go off without a animal in 1. Only reason I sold them was other people liked mine more than me.

I bought my first ones about 8 years ago and they have really caught everything for me! Mainly use them for coon along the creek beds and what not, but I've also set them inside muskrat houses and they worked great in there to. I've held the occasional coyote in them and no problems afterwards what so ever.
