Wanna Be OP trapper W Joined: May 2018 Posts: 10,850 SW Georgia	Georgia doesn’t have a size limit on traps set in water, so I figured the bigger the better. Settled on this Duke trap to try for beaver. This will be my first attempt trying to catch one. Wish me luck!!

Wanna Be OP trapper W Joined: May 2018 Posts: 10,850 SW Georgia	Had a job at an Ag machine repair shop and saw this trap. The owner was an older gentleman who had a ton of stories to tell. I asked if I could take a pic of the trap and he said sure. Figured y’all would get a kick out of it. He said he was going to fabricate some setters just so he could say he set it, lol. I know I want nothing to do with it!!

lestan101 trapper L Joined: Aug 2016 Posts: 391 tn	I welded a nut on a C clamp so I can use a battery operated 1/4 inch impact driver to close the clamp. I also set one spring then put a U shaped rod on it to hold it down then set the other spring. I even night latched mine. If you choose to do that BE CAREFUL. The pan is now level when set. I also camo painted it.
