Definately affects the dealers, especially folks like nyrat and the small guys with a tail gate spot or one booth. The major dealers - MTP, F&T, Cumberland’s, etc. - they all have web sites and do a lot of mail order (which will be bigger for the ), they come to conventions to meet people, deliver orders, etc. It could very well save them money, especially if the conventions refund the booth rent.
Another loser is the cities where the conventions were to be held. Motels, restaurants, activities for the family to do, etc. there are quite a few trappers that combine a convention with a family vacation. The town will lose a lot of tourist dollars.

It's bound to affect the associations. The conventions are the main fundraisers for the NTA.

I do a fair amount of business selling snares and snare supports along with other snaring supplies and now a few used traps to help out a friend of mine who's dad passed away and he doesn't trap so I'm trying to help them out which as you can imagine it's not working out very well now ha ha . I certainly do miss the conventions and getting to see and catch up with old friends while making new friends as well. Allan
