plainstrapping25 OP trapper P Joined: Feb 2019 Posts: 512 NE	I purchased one of those and it's a really awesome trap. Springs are REALLY stout. But it did not have a anchor chain attached. Wonder if it was just that one or if that's how they manufacture? Not a big deal at all I can easily make one and attach it. I also wonder how I would need to stabilize such a large trap under water. Biggest I have ever dealt with was 330s and I always use a metal stabilizer or fiberglass post with hagz brackets.

Cut off about an inch from the corner and braze on whatever length you want by using about a 2" section of 3/8" steel brake line. Just make sure you have the trigger and dog on the right rods. I replaced the old trigger with a piece of heavy electric fence wire. Inexpensive, easy to do and been very please with how they work. Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.
