I purchased one of those and it's a really awesome trap. Springs are REALLY stout. But it did not have a anchor chain attached. Wonder if it was just that one or if that's how they manufacture? Not a big deal at all I can easily make one and attach it. I also wonder how I would need to stabilize such a large trap under water. Biggest I have ever dealt with was 330s and I always use a metal stabilizer or fiberglass post with hagz brackets.

He makes a 660 size trap too. I have one of the first ten produced.

RBG 1022 Body Grip Trap - made by the folks who make the regular round ones.

It is described as a 10" x 22" Rectangular Trap

Several suppliers sell them but this is the first image I found.

Looks to be a 660. I wonder if they bought Rich Kasper’s stuff, looks like his safeties too.

It is a awesome trap. I can't wait to set in a water filled ditch or channel or narrow steam or crossover.

I looked in MTP catalog. The call it the "Big Bear" which is also what I believe Rich Kasper called his. Glad to see someone is producing it. Sure has a place in someone's inventory. I use MB 1216's often.

Easy to modify a standard 330. Cut off about an inch from the corner and braze on whatever length you want by using about a 2" section of 3/8" steel brake line. Just make sure you have the trigger and dog on the right rods. I replaced the old trigger with a piece of heavy electric fence wire. Inexpensive, easy to do and been very please with how they work.

Anyone have any ideas on what kind of material to use to weld up a stabilizer?

Sure 3/8 rebar would work as well. Got alot of old electric fense posts. Sure I could design something to make it fit real tight

A pair of KB stabilizers. One on either end.
