NPR article today about how due to covid19, people aren't able to register to vote, and it could change the electorate. The article then goes on to explain that actually people can still register to vote, so I'm not sure what the point is. Its basically a hedge in case Trump wins, so that Democrats will be able to say they lost only because they weren't able to register voters. It's interesting, actually, and with crazy Uncle Joe for a candidate, I wonder if we'll start seeing more of this type of excuses making. We would have won if only......

This is part of their push for mail OUT ballots for everyone. They are selling it as mail in ballots, but that is already an option with absentee ballots. The difference is you need to register and request absentee. Mail out ballots would be a free for all, with no control over who is actually filling them out. Ballot harvesting would be rampant. This is Bidens only real chance of beating Trump.

It reminds me of the the Brian Kemp/Stacey Abrams thing in Georgia. All kinds of excuses about how the Democrats would have won, if only.

They will issue ballots to people that are dead, moved out of district (duplicate ballots), illegals etc.

There's already reports of people receiving multiple ballots at their homes for people who no longer live at the address or have passed away. I saw 1 post where the dad received a ballot but the dad had passed away 10 years ago. I saw another where a person got 5 ballots for other people who lived at the address many years ago

What galls me is how their spin can even be taken seriously. I honestly don't think they even believe it and are know that they are trying to steal elections.

Abrams tried everything from ballot harvesting, trucking in out of staters, holding key polling places open hous after the election was over, you name it she did it. Yet it was Kemp that was the bad guy in his elected Secretary of State who had removed dead people and people who hadn't voted in five years and failed to respond to mailed warnings. Nor was it ever reported that Kemp had recused himself prior to the election and that the election was overseen by the senior civil servent in the Dept a black female.

It's really no different than what happened after the the 2016 election. There was excuses after excuse after excuse about how the Democrats should have won. I think this time the excuses and blaming are starting even before the election, because with creepy Uncle Joe as the candidate, they can see what's coming....4 more years of a republican president. It'll be really bad after the election.

I dont know how they do it where you live but here in Iowa we have to request the ballot there is no mass sending of ballots. I assume they match up your name to a registered voter and to your home address. I don't see how there can be a mass fraud using these protocols.

Two can play that game and believe ballot harvesting has already happened and both parties participated. Online voting would produce the largest voter turn out in the history of this country, it would not end well.

Exactly, under existing rules with absentee balloting there is minimal risk of fraud. What the Democrats are pushing for, using covid as an excuse, is the mass mailing of ballots to folks who may or may not have any intention of voting. There is a considerably higher risk, almost a certainty of voter fraud with this proposal.

The harvesting of ballots in NC by a Republican candidate was illegal by State law. The same thing is perfectly legal in CA, where 7 Republican candidates for congress were winning on election night in Nov. 2018. After they counted all of the harvested ballots all 7 lost to the Dems.

In NV, Dems negotiated to send ALL registered voters ballots, even though their own official said that the addresses were no longer current. (Moved, died, etc.) Watch their primary 2 weeks from now. Wonder how many of those will come back?

I saw where NV. Has a mess. They sent out ballots, I guess the only way they could, to every person registered.

Trouble is people move and people die. The result???? People are getting ballots in the mail for people who use to have that address.

This will end the last little confidence we have that our elections are fair.
