I just put a live trap out by the bird feeder at night and use sun flower seeds. You need to find out where they are getting in.

I catch them in my DP’s using corn. Not sure if coyotes or cats will eat them, but I have a bag full of rats and squirrels I caught in DP’s. Saving them for next winter.

I've never known them to be trap shy. If they won't hit off pb, try nutella or any other squirrel baits.

110’s with a strip of sponge on trigger wires with PB smeared on 1 side and jelly on the other. Often catch 2 at a time. My record was 23 outa 1 attic.

I've always put a 1 way on the hole and let them evict themselves. I've put a couple traps down if a customer wants them, but they really aren't needed.

Not here in the north. They WILL chew right back in if you try and evict them. Flyers can chew right through metal soffit and facia

I've seen them go through vynal siding, but not metal.

It may be a factor of where we do our work though. It's easier to get into the neighbour's house. If there's young in there, they'll do their best to get back in.

I use cracked walnuts for squirrel bait when they won't go for the peanut butter or my general critter bait.

Black oil sunflower seeds stuck on PB for me in a cage or loose in the back is a weasel box with a rat snap trap. I have much better luck with gravity door traps over a hole though. Baited sets only when necessary.

I can understand flying squirrels getting caught with beaver meat. The little buggers are meat eating fools! I have lots of video of them working over beaver carcasses that I have hanging for bait.
