agree! The emerald ash borers decimated our trees. That what they look like. (NE Ohio).

Ive seen similar insect damage like that in dead trees before the emerald borer came through. Beats me regarding ash borer, but I see that on every dead pine tree that I remove bark from and the reason is ants.
