I caught 3 cats with about 25 traps out and I thought I was purdy special until that big meany Mark June posted a profile picture with 7. He acts all nice and stuff but I say we should watch him because he is hard on my fragile ego!

JP- are you Savell / Jtrap sized or do your coyotes get big?
Those are Wolves. One or two was a pup. I’m not too big of a guy, 5’ 11” 210lbs.

JPark- I only rile you up because you are younger and better looking than I am (most everyone is) and because you live inside of the artic circle

Around 350 rats in one heckuva long 20 hr check run ( yes, I checked the same traps more than once a day) but was averaging 200 a day for weeks, I want to say 35 beaver, 3 N. Minnesota cats (season limit 5) took 3 checks to get those)... Here's the big thing on numbers! ya gotta go where they big numbers of fur are and the laws are conducive to putting out a MASSIVE line. Minimal competition and good weather... Scouting, efficiency, numbers, preparation, tons of quality traps, and a fire in ones belly that won't allow oneself to slow down until seasons over or conditions turn impossible. No matter what anyone else thinks you should do how sore your back. Up before dawn, big breakfast, stout coffee, energy drinks and power bars... snack constantly, drink plenty water... and lay steel! Oh and very important! a reliable skinner or buy many freezers! And pray your furs are worth the effort at sale. I tell ya the guy on here that caught all those coyotes going for 1000 that's serious pile of coyotes! Hat's off to that fella! I hope the coyote market will be kind to him? I could sit down and skin a acouple hundred rats but to look at say 50 coyotes to skin that would be overwhelming for me... one time my skinner and I skun near 200 beaver in 2 days, never will I do that again! My hands were so cramped I'd have to peel them open... Horrible! I still remember how NAFA hosed me on that castor... I had near #50lbs that year I sent it to Stoughton, labeled as such and receiving knew it was coming ( I called the receiving manager and had it there in 2 days refrigerated. I'm quite certain they let it rot or sold it under the table cream graded as I traditionally would get at least 75% #1's then #2's, I keep the shells for my lures... They flipped the grade months later and shrunk alot! I screamed they sent me a few hundred more bucks.... Honestly, I won't miss NAFA they were sloppy, corrupt and slightly arrogant if you ask me.

I was impressed with one guys daily catch of beaver-I think it was Goldy, that used to post on here had a daily beaver catch of 65 or something like that. And it aint just the catch-its all the other stuff that comes with a beaver catch like that. Yeah, I haven't seen Goldy on here for quite some time. Hope he's alright? An you're right, his one day beaver catch was a doozy.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
