Stock Tank swimming pools are now all the rage among hipsters. It don’t count if cows aren’t drinking out of it.

We built a hot tub with one when I was a kid. Set it on cinder blocks and built a fire under the middle. Girls in bikinis and cheap beer, we had a ball for a few days till the middle caved in lol That does sound like fun.

Redmond's is a salt company out of Utah. I listened to a live presentation by the owner of Redmond's. The junk kind of sinks to the bottom of the water trough. You still have to change the water on a regular basis but it did control the algae in my situation. This way you don't have to scrub the water every 3 weeks. Your experience may vary, I can't guarantee anything.

We did get our water tested and I think it has some bacteria in it. The conditioner absorbs toxins. We do have toxic fescue in my neighborhood so I think conditioner could possibly help with that. I'm not a scientist just a farmer that likes to play with natural remedies. If someone wants to disagree with me I understand. Not everyone thinks the same. Carry on and be happy.
