Start dropping them with sniper fire and they’ll all head for home. And yes, I believe it’s gotten that bad. Stop it now or it will only get worse. I agree. its time to take the gloves off. we definitely need a population reduction.

DC mayor is probably only to happy to stick it to trump with this business. It's a flaming bag of excrement on the White House steps, and she is hoping the Donald comes out to stomp . The main reason the democrat mayors are letting their extreme leftist wing, destroy their cities, is to get a response from President Donald Trump and his supporters, that they can use to motivate moderate democrats and unaligned people to vote for biden and other democrats in the upcoming elections. I think it is likely to backfire if we stay cool. Keith

I agree with KeithC, but I also agree with Wanna Be. So let's compromise. Let's let it play out like KeithC suggests, and as soon as the election is over, let's take Wanna Be's advice.

Georgia House passes bill to dissolve county police departments. It's not what it looks like. It's an attempt to resolve a long standing state constitutional power vs county/city usurpation. In Georgia the county Sheriff is a constitutional officer and the highest legal authority in the county, answerable to the Governor. However, Georgia also has "home rule" where county commissions and city councils have the authority to enact and enforce local code. In seven counties the commissions have established county police departments which has de facto diminished the authority of the Sheriff. This bill will allow the voters of these seven counties the ability to abolish their county police returning authority to the Sheriff. It does not allow abolishing city or municipal police departments. JMO, something that is long overdue. It's just that the current climate has just now allowed the legislature cover to act. Two counties north of me have both county Sheriff and county police. And in both there have been times the two very nearly came to blows.
