What would be a fair price to charge for removing turtles from fish ponds?

Same price you would charge for a raccoon. Set up plus per animal. No difference except turtles are much easier to trap.

Have you trapped turtles in Florida before. It may put some limitations on you Depending on the law.How many nets to use is a factor. In Florida in the deep South is best to run your traps twice a day. If you just trying to reduce numbers you should catch the bulk in the pond in three days if it’s not raining. That is if you have the right traps and enough of them for the size of the area. A big factor is going to be if there’s alligators in the pond. It’s extremely and more difficult and more costly. If you can’t get all the way around the pond you will need a boat.

One by one treated. I don’t recommend any other traps. Only thing you may need to do is to order a flat throat in the trap. One by one mesh is best to do what you wanna do.
You will need to make bait holders out of chicken wire.
you stretch the trap out With two by twos. Put bottles in the trap to hold it up so it’ll float and the turtles won’t drown.Check your traps twice a day once in the morning and once in the late afternoon. You want to use fresh bait. No tainted bait. My son tried other traps we never found one that would catch near what these would.Cheaper is not always best.

I didn’t think alligators would be a problem either I first started trapping. I caught 54 first year I trap turtles.Alligators can destroy your nets. Another problem you have is alligator snapping turtles. They will tear up your nets also. Regular snappers are not a problem.

He will need to wear brown cotton gloves we’re handling the turtles. It’s best to transport the turtles brown burlap bags feed bags.
