mktrpr45 OP trapper M Joined: Apr 2018 Posts: 23 PA	Just wondered if there was a particular time period when that stamping was used. I have a 14 and a 3 1/2 with the NY USA spring stamp. I could be wrong but I seem to see more newhouse traps stamped with just NY or Made in USA. Thanks

Deerhunter51 trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 746 Tennessee	I believe the NY only stamps carried up to around 1913 or 1914 and the Made In USA addition picked up from there. Snake Collector will probably chime in before long.

snakecollector trapper S Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 622 S.W. Oregon,USA	In 1914, country of origin was required by law to be on exports. That is when the "N.Y. U.S.A." spring stamp was started. Shortly after items had to say "Made in" and the stamp was changed to "Made in U.S.A." and "Made in Canada".
