I have a pile of sand. And was going to wax it. Anyone know the ration. I know with dirt it's a 10lbs of wax to 20 gallons of dirt. And I read that sand is maybe half that? Or a quarter. Come out to be 2.5 to 5lbs of wax to 20 gallons of sand. I presift the sand thru window screen.

Start with the above mentioned, remember you can always add more to it you cant take excess out of it

That's about right for me as well.

Not sure on the ratios but i know, a bag of bead wax from ogormans makes up 140-150 gallons for me. ( Waxed sand) keeps my sets going way into below 0 temps. Bullet proof

Let me sugar coat this

Well that's really good news. Takes less than half as much wax for sand than for dirt. Thanks alot
