Is there a one size fits all for a skunk and opossum board ? I've read to use male fisher boards, small coon boards, or fox boards. I made up some dedicated boards for skunks and opossums this year. I used my red fox board as a pattern and made two that are 6 1/2" wide at 22" and down for smaller pelts and two that are 7 1/4" wide at 22" and down for bigger pelts. Does the width really matter that much on these furs ? -Thanks

Small racoon board or a fox board or a fisher board.

I use a fox board for my skunks and coon boards for my possums. Most of the possum I catch run on the huge side so a coon board works fine for them.

Your average coon board works just fine. Your only using the end of It. I've done a lot of rats on my coon boards they work just fine.
