Ok they closed the country to stop the spread. In some places it worked. Now things are open and cases spread like wild fire anyway. So what did it really accomplish? Hundreds of businesses have closed for good. People killing them selves left and right because of financial ruin. PLUS still millions of cases. Remember when SWEDEN didn't close the economy , no shelter in place. TONs of people where really complaining. They went with the herd immunity. Ok where is Sweden at today . Don't hear a word about them. Funny how when we had few thousand cases death rate was scary. Now with more than 3-5 thousand new cases a day in some states the death rate is way down. Was the initial deaths really covid? Have the people it is going to kill already dead? Just wondering out loud I guess......

From today's news.

Average daily Covid-19 deaths, however, have hovered above 1,000 for more than two weeks. The country had been below that level for seven consecutive weeks before that.

Hindsight is always 20/20 I do think at first when nobody knew what this was yes I agreed because it could have been a lot worse, but now that we know what it is, have medicine that can help, looking back it doesn’t look like it.

And there's no more people dying in a week than usually die!!! They just call them chink virus when its heart attack, flu, car wreck, etc.

How do you train people to panic if you never told them to panic?

NY got hit early and very hard. They clamped down hard and stayed the course. NY now has the best chance of getting back to a better place faster than many places and with school as well. The rest of the nation took the quarterly report protocol and got bored too soon and yes many of those regions will have a much longer road to hoe. Also as we see the spikes breaking out in remote areas many realize there is no real control at all and choose to stay isolated and at home even when things open up.
I have been reviewing Craig's list frequently for some used items I want. Right after the middle of March prices fell and the listings increased. By Memorial Day the opposite was happening. Now after August 1st the listings are going way up and prices are coming down. liquidity in the society is going away fast.

It was a hustle. I had to shut my business down for 7 weeks. Destroyed small business to supposedly save our lives.

Government always has to do "something" so that it seems useful, it matters little if doing "something" is right or wrong as long as "something" is done.

If it saved my life it was worth it for me. How about you. Any chance it spared someone in your family. Such a shame that half the nation did nothing and it got worse and worse.

Didn't do a darn thing to help anyone. It was all a political scam to ditch a booming economy because the DemoRats are selfish children that will burn this country to the ground and step on the necks of everyone to regain power.

I BELIEVE IN MY GOD, MY COUNTRY AND IN MYSELF.
