Anybody know where I can get spools of PVC (I think it’s PVC) cord to deter birds from a fish pond. They run back and forth from a cable perimeter to deter fish-eating birds. It’s the same stuff as “tangle free” decoy cord. However, I haven’t had any luck finding large spools of it - 1,000 feet or more. Hoping one of you can point me in the right direction. Thanks.

If you're gridding a pond, why not use braided line? It can be made very strong, very thin, very durable.

1000 yards, 300lb test, 1.2mm.

Not sure it would be visible enough. The stuff that is already up has been there almost 20 years. Just need to fill in a few that have broken overs the years. But, they don’t know exactly what they have and the company they got it from no longer sells it.

You can probably get tarred nylon from a marine supplier in lengths

Tarred line is as important as para cord for having with you in truck. I like braided

The Mossy Oak type stuff is what I’m looking for - but I need 30,000 feet so looking for large spools.
