I have some ten foot wide culverts on my line. The sides are concrete and straight up and down. The water levels vary by five feet on any given day. I target beaver. Last year things went OK by wiring a 330 between a couple of 4 foot boards and putting on some floats (Styrofoam). This held the 330 in the middle and it all moved with the water. I used cables on each side to stakes in the ground outside the concrete. This worked but fell apart after each catch. I am looking to build something better this year and am open to any ideas. Thanks.

A good old V beaver float might work for you, or look for the the crossover trail. Even on those bog culverts and even on bridges I kill a pile of beaver on the crossovers. They could easily swim through the opening but it seems a lot of them come op and over the road.

Cheap fencing/panels if the water isnt too deep.

Limited to keeping tight to the culvert ends. My permission runs out once I go past the wings. Most days I just stand and look at all the places that could be set. Fences are in the way of critters going over the road. These are some odd ball spots, just trying to do the best I can with what I have to work with. Thanks guys.
