I talked with a Canadian broker that is at the sale. Wolves, wolverine and bears are getting quite a bit of interest. Buyers are looking at other goods but not with much enthusiasm. I heard there were 15-20 brokers in the building. Just an estimate not an exact count.

Keep in mind that one broker can represent dozens of customers. A broker may have a customer for semi-heavy coyotes, another customer for blanket beaver, another for muskrats, the list is endless. So no need to fret over the small number of brokers at the auction.

The auction starts tomorrow (Sunday) at 8 AM eastern time. Gonna be an early morning for those of us in the Pacific time zone. First item up - 45 pages of wolves......

The order of sale shows wolves on Monday and it shows they are starting with coyotes tomorrow morning. Has that changed?

The order of sale that I looked at just now says wolves start tomorrow and coyotes start Monday.

Hope this link works.

Thanks wissmiss. That makes more sense. The preliminary order of sale was the opposite of that.

I would agree I personally would rather watch grass grow unless I owned the auction company or were in their business.
