There every where this year, and I noticed all the animals scat is nothing but persimmon poop. Lol

I wanted to play with making up a sweet persimmon bait. I was thinking of rendering them down some on low heat and adding sugar to sweeten the mix up. I’m looking for any tips from someone that has successfully taken coyotes on a bait like this. Should I add anything else? Also I was going to add SB as a preservative. Am I on the right track?

I'd put them in a blender, add SB and that's it.

Pectin, same as momma uses to make jelly/jams.
