Thanks guys and gals, The gray is not wearing a collar that I know of. Got a few pics of it. Need to get a DR mower for doing the airstrip. That little Walmart special is getting a workout for sure and so is the knucklehead pushing it. Here's a few more pics
Forgot to mention, I'd sent 24 wolves to Moyles to get tanned in the beginning of May. Moyle called last week and only received one of 4 boxes. Sent Priority and they cannot find 3 of the missing boxes. Lost in transit... The were insured for $50 each. My bad for not insuring for the $3000 value of each box. I've mailed a lot of stuff through the USPS over the years and only had one mishap before this. I sure hope this pans out it in the end. They sure are hard to deal with, not sure if it is always like this or just with all the BS going on. You cannot talk to a person anymore ya have to deal with everything on the computer. Frustrating for sure.
Back out to the shop.

That is a big big bear...was wondering what he did when I lost sight of him , just seeing his ears off to the left as he went. Wondered if he was going to arc around that side to see you better.
Lovely full rivers and creeks. They are full here too, clear and cold. The beauty of flowing clean water.
That's a real bummer about your fur shipment. That's a good lesson for us all. Don't skimp on the insurance. I hope they show back up. That bear was a bruiser. Too bad he walked off.

Greetings Trappers and Happy Fall. Trapping season is approaching fast. Been working close to home this summer so got a lot of #9's built. Been helping a few buddies on their cabins and shops as well. Helped Mr Masek put on his roof of his shop early this summer. Put up a high line and used a chainsaw winch to set the 44' trusses. Neat project and always wanted to do it. Worked well and learned a lot for next time.
Wished we'd had one more person to video when we got the bugs worked out and up and running. Got some wolf gear that I brought out dyed. Still have to clean up and file the triggers and dogs. Back in the iron patch putting up a couple building this summer. Finally got my new girlfriend down to the cabin in Minto Flats. Took 4 trips but finally made it. Water was ridiculously high. Saw a few moose but wasn't looking very hard since I still have a freezer full of meat. Good trip for photos and she is getting pretty handy with her camera. She took this pic from the cub when we were flying out to work on a cabin. Night-latched a bunch of #9's and figured I'd share it. Forgive the poor video. Heading back to work this week probably until trapping season. Hoping to fly out to the cabin and check some cameras pretty quick though. You all have a safe hunting season and we'll talk later.

It won't be long and all those traps will be set and hunting season will of come and gone keep the pictures coming . Allan
