Them to start chambering the 336 in .308 and .338 Marlin Express again! I love Marlin lever actions, want some in longer range cartridges than 30-30, .35 Remington, or 45-70. Also want their rifles offered in stainless with synthetic stocks as a regular option. What would you like to see Ruger do with Marlin?

I’d like to see a 405win chambering but it would probably require a longer action.

maybe they could build an Exact .44 Deerfield Semi ...not the remake they tried but the original 70's model Ruger or Marlin don't care

My personal preference is wood stocks only no stainless steel either. Please forgive me I try to understand modern firearms I just cannot get over how ugly they are. I was looking at a friends 32 cal made 1853 muzzle loader today, simple, plain, well balanced and ergonomic a Funchal and accurate rifle115 plus years later.

My Ruger Super Redhawk and Marlin 1895 ss Guide gun are low maintenance because they are stainless steel. Having to carry them for days in the rain and snow, dust and mud of the Lower Yukon, on boats, ATV'S, and snowmachines gave me a new appreciation for stainless steel and synthetic stocks that I didn't have in Florida. Blued steel and wood stocks look better, I wholeheartedly agree, but functionality trumps looks when it comes to guns with me.

I would like to see them change the twist rate of the .44 lever guns from 1 in 38" to a faster rate that will stabilize 300 gr bullets. That slow rate of twist is way outdated.I still love mine but being able to shoot 300 grs would make it much better.

I couldn't get my 1894 to lift 305 grain bullets from the magazine tube to the barrel, they were too long.

A 336 16 inch barrel chambered in 44mag

basically the 336 compact with a 44 cal barrel also cut down on the cost to blue , just cerocoat all the parts flat black and put a short easy handling gun in 44 mag that doesn't cost twice as much.

why is a 1894 7-800 and a 336 compact 400

if they wanted to make it in 445 super mag that would be good also

I want a 336 guide gun in stainless/synthetic, chambered in .35 Rem.

Marlin made one years ago and I didn't buy one at the time. I've been kicking myself ever since.
