Let me start by saying I’m super green to the bait making game
I have messed around with bobcat and beaver meat with decent success
So a guy I work with had a freezer go bad full of halibut and rock fish
They don’t seam to have rotted at all they were all vacuum packed
I was hoping to chunk them up and use them in my pocket sets and a few dirt holes near otter toilets
So on preserving these chunks what would be the best way
SB , SB and salt , or is there a better way to preserve fish ?

Always ready pull out pieces whenever you need them. I just rinse them off put them in a bag and head out on the line. No real time limit. Use from day one till buckets empty

Only fill the bucket 3/4 full to allow for the liquid that’ll form.
