I haven’t been on here in quit a while. I’m looking at getting a new tent for fall hunting. Anyone seen the newer AO igloo? How does it compare to the AO 10? It’s a little light and looks like a set up. Thanks in advance.

I picked up an Igloo a couple years ago and really like it. Little lighter than the AO 10 and seemed to have a little more room. I have 4 different sizes of Arctic Ovens and the Igloo is my favorite 2 person tent.

Do any of you have any experience or heard any reviews of the "Pipeline"?

I've got a Pipeline also. That is my tent I leave out as an emergency camp out on the trapline. Nice little tent but cannot put my cots in it so sleeping on pads and cannot stand up so long nights are no fun but like I said it's an emergency camp. You probably could put one over those little short cots in it. Have a little wood stove in it, Heats up fast and you can put double poles in it to increase its snow and wind loads. [Linked Image]

My Igloo is really nice but I haven't had it out on many trips. The vestibules on the tents are definitely worth their weight. [Linked Image]

My Arctica has been my go to 3-person tent for many years. She's well over 20 years old and going strong but doesn't have the vestibule. Awesome 3-person tent [Linked Image]

My 12X12 Arctic oven has only been used once but really liked it. It is huge and slept 4 people on cots with a wood stove. [Linked Image]

Never had a problem with any of my Arctic Oven tents. They are under new ownership now and we'll see how they do. IMO the tents are worth every penny. [Linked Image]

I have the Arctica, but I've come to the realization I don't use it as much as I'd like to because it's not very portable. I was thinking the pipeline would be good for spring and fall bear hunts in unit 9.

I’ve been wondering the same.. AO 10, or the igloo. The 36 lb weight of the igloo really has my attention.

I saw alaska airframes bought? Tent and tarp, I stopped in last week and they only have a 12*12 in stock.

If I could only have one, it would definitely be the Igloo.

How’s the standing room, with the more angled sides vs the 10@10.

You can put your cots right up to it and it isn’t an issue?
