Boco, those are post card quality pictures. I have never taken pictures of any here but I bet they wouldn't look that nice.
Wish I had more time to trap....

I trapped a huge pond off and on for years, depending on water level I could occasionally see what I thought was a lodge on the far side, that I could not access. Then I got a better look one year and decided it was actually a slash pile from the logging that had occurred years before. Next trip, several years later the "slash" pile was covered with peeled sticks and poles. It was actually a beaver lodge, about the size of a small house. No wonder I never ran out of beaver there.

Beaver are just about the craziest critter there is. Get up every morning and haul more mud, gnaw on more trees, and see what we can create. Imagine all the folks who go through this life and never think about a Bev. They sured missed it!
Thanks y'all for the photos.
Blessings, Mark

If beaver had TV they wouldn't be so active. If people didn't have TV they could build nice houses too like a beaver.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Great pics everyone, thanks for sharing. I should have taken one of the new lodge I saw at the lake last week when I was at the lake taking the boats out for the season.
