Not sure if he rolled on set or not but I've seen them belly crawl up to a set for some reason. That could explain the elbow catch. Anyhow, nice catch.

O'Gorman had pictures of coyotes caught by the elbow and back hip that he posted in his writings back in the 70's (in Sterlings I believe). Takes a good trap to do that! ! ! I never got one that way but did snare one by the tail and several by the foot ,,,snared a fox by the mouth once. Caught many skunks and opossums by their "other" appendages" through the years (don't know if I was lucky or not but they sure weren't)............ the mike
