attach chain to a coyote drag?

thinking that to avoid the inevitable tangles with drags/chain...

can you have the chain loose by itself; and use a spring clip to attach the drag, and a second one to attach the chain to the trap?

if they're strong enough, it would eliminate tangles...assemble in seconds at the set.

Thoughts?

I’d be too worried about the clip coming open. Probably plenty strong enough until the latch gets opened somehow

Id use the sleep ez hooks. Less chance of the gate coming open as your have a screw lock on them.
