Do you guys have any tips for a new trapper? In my area I am pretty much limited to coyotes and bobcats. I am also the only trapper in my family so I am starting from scratch with a dozen duke #3s. Any tips for coyotes and bobcats would be greatly appreciated, I am in a fairly arid environment so I am trapping in desert sage brush flats that may be next to some wheat and corn fields depending on the location. That’s one reason I don’t need to trap a bobcat! It looks warm and inviting then it rips your face off and eats your flesh!!!

We set up a property about 4 weeks ago to catch a cat eating bobcat. Well, we caught 'er yesterday, in a Duke 550, at a dirt hole set, using Young's "Ambush" beaver meat bait, Ouachita's "Buffalo Oil", & bobcat scat with Winter's "Bobcat Urine." ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2020/11/full-51783-67331-img_2232.jpg) Awesome!
