Before or after the election?
I'm thinking before. And heck, I've already got $50 bet with Nessmuck on Trump's defeat.
Besides, any excuse to buy a gun--right?

Never a bad time to buy a gun.
As radically liberal as you are, I am surprised you are pro gun

Of all the places I've ever visited on this earth, this forum is the only place I've ever been called "radically liberal."
I'm liberal on some issues. But I believe in the right to keep and bear arms, and that most gun laws are wrong-headed and unconstitutional.
So...do you believe this is a good time to buy a new gun?

Jim If Biden wins, yes. If Trump wins, it doesn’t matter.

If Biden wins, internet gun sales could be banned.
I've bought and sold various guns on the internet.
I think Biden's going to win.
Therefore, now is a good time to buy.

If Biden wins, this country deserves the Great Depression, Venezuela, Africa, Korea, China, and Phillipines all rolled into one just for voting for him. It will begin in the cities.

Any time you have discretionary income to spend is a good time to purchase a gun.
The way it is right now the prices have only one direction to go.

Jim best time to buy guns , any day no one is running for president year 1-2 of a presidency preferably a Republican pres basically any time no one else is inspired to go buy a gun stock them deep while the guns , ammo and parts are cheap. for when you need a gun the time to buy was yesterday there is never a bad day to be buying more guns , just more expensive days I will never understand why you choose to flog one hand to make it as useless as the other. It seems the weak hand is better served by a strong hand than 2 half useless holders of digits..

Jim technically it is a horrible time to buy a new gun! inventory at record lows , section stinks , prices the highest they have been , ammo almost unavailable in many calibers panic buying , empty shelves however , like buying the worst toilet paper in March , it still beats a dirty butt.

Now, either way. If Biden wins, there"ll be a mad rush to buy whatever you can, and stuff will be expensive and hard to find. If Trump wins, there's gonna be mass riots and such, and stuff will be expensive and hard to find, plus it'll be too late by then.

when the public saw the NON-reaction of big city governments to the widespread rioting/looting; people who had never seriously thought about buying a gun began doing just that. (I know two of them, personally).
the escalated civil unrest that is likely coming if Trump wins reelection will do nothing to alleviate that angst among the general population.
If Biden wins, Dems will tell their minions to stand down; and things will once again (after SCOTUS is suitably "packed") return to normalcy. "Normal" being Democrats in charge, getting THEIR way...
petulant children in charge, demonstrably willing to use and encourage violence in support of their radical agenda.

Right now everyone is panic buying guns.
You already know what you are looking for; and need to unload one in order to buy the next.
So:
Now is a great time to sell gun B and start looking for ideal gun A.
I'm pretty sure the few bucks difference between "'good time/bad time" ain't no deal breaker, in your case.
