I didn't realize they took over Arctic Cat. I wonder how it's effected the Arctic Cat ATVs

I heard they are really cutting down on their lineup for next year, I can't get a straight answer from anybody on if they are going to be making the TBX next year. I'm going to be really upset if they aren't because there aren't any around to buy now and I swore I was going to upgrade to a new one this time before my old one was completely worn out and not worth selling. Other than that, the first couple years they owned them I didn't really notice any difference.

Textron was made for the costco/Bass pro dealers to sell. They gave the shaft to the cat dealers literally. What you could buy from the cat dealer you could get from bass pro cheaper with a different name. Only certain models are available for sale if you preorder them. Doesnt sound good for future sales.

Water is good for two things, Floating Ships and making Beer.

Funny, I didn't see any difference in price between Cabela's Textron atv's for sale and the ones from at least some of the cat dealers (I always shop around, in the past you could save a couple thousand bucks from one cat dealer to another). Just less model options. Which doesn't bode well for my quest for a new TBX model.

Every Cat dealer I called this Fall was within $100 of each other on new ATV's.

The Bass Pro Shop models are a ~few hundred dollars cheaper. They go by the Tracker name. Probably the same machine with different decals. I would question the service from Bass Pro vs a traditional dealer though.

Yeah, Textron really messed up many Cat dealers. We lost ours in town. He didn't hold back his frustration when he told me about Textron.

I don't trust Textron. I bought a '21 300 Cat atv. The manufacturer advertises the ground clearance as 8 1/4", but once I bought it I figured out it's 6 2/3, which is what its competitor the Kawasaki Brute Force 300 advertises. I questioned Cat on it and they take forever to respond, and beat around the bush. I finally got them to admit 8 1/4 is wrong, but they refuse to correct it on the Cat website, but they won't tell me why..
