Anyone in the Michigan area ever seen a similar trap? It’s a behemoth at 6ft long. It appears the maker signed it with an M or W. Any help is appreciated....

Neat trap but it is not blacksmith made, it is shop made. The difference is that the pieces were cut and welded together, rather than forged and pounded into shape. It was not likely made to trap an animal, but made as a show piece.
