Could it be 1906 Winchester? Only they're supposed to have round barrel. This is hexagon.

It's listed as a 1906 but maybe had a left-over barrel from an 1890 put on it? Or two guns pieced together. I'm just really curious.

I have a model 1906 Winchester rifle. It was the first rifle I had. I purchased it for $10 from a neighbor in Pratt, Kansas in1952 . It was well used when I purchased it. One thing that I like about it is that the tube can be loaded with shorts, longs, and long rifle cartridges. I have no idea of how many bricks of shells I shot out of it. Shells were very cheap back then.

Mine is a .22 short, but yes, Win did produced other .22 cals. in that model.

If it's a .22 WRF in good shape, figure on spending $1500 for it. Dad bought his during the depression for $15.00. It has made more meat than most center fire rifles , and it's an absolute tack driver Charlie
