I just heard a rumor (we all know how accurate rumors usually are) that several state fur sales aren't going to be able to happen due to restrictions from their governors. Any truth to those? I just talked to the lady running the fairgrounds and she said Elmore County commissioners said we ARE having all scheduled events this winter and spring. Our two sales are happening! They are Jan 15th-17th and March 12th - 14th at the Elmore County Fairgrounds in Glenns Ferry Idaho. I love to promote our sale but breaks my heart to hear these closures. Most states run their associations with income from those state sales. No banquets, no fur sales, no events, no conventions, members not renewing at events.... How are states associations going to generate revenue?

I haven’t heard anything about ours, but with Sisolack anything is possible. Wouldn’t surprise me if he made us all quarantine until the second coming of Christ.

Fur will be worthless for years to come

Nevada and Oregon both have sales scheduled as per usual. Subject to change if they get shut out of the facilities they use.

All 3 sales are held at fair grounds or convention centers. If public buildings are shut down for covid, sales won’t happen. Big loss for trappers and the association,

New Mexico will happen, board meeting tonight we should know if we have a new location!?

As of right now, Nevada's Sale is scheduled for February 27 & 28, 2021; however, at this time our Convention Center is closed. Who knows what our Governor is going to restrict more!
