Cant work. You still have the same problems. Shy of getting a mold of your face and a mask made to conform to it,the gaps are still there. I'm sure people will buy it though.

Never going to work like N95 because the filter material has bigger holes in it. If they lie about that it says the whole thing is bogus. Picture screening out mosquitoes with poultry wire. It will make the dust mask just as effective as a bandana though.

Nobody wears masks correctly anyway. In order for them to be effective and to protect yourself you need to dispose some every time you take them off and start with the new one. I just don't bother anymore. I'm over it.

The fact that the hospitals even allow neck gaiters is all you need to know about the mask mandates.

Isnt it interesting how they willfully ignore science when it suits them, yet use it gleefully when it aligns with their position? The Danish study on masks was a controlled study and is considered the gold standard as far as studies go. Yet they disregard it for some reason. They wont even mention it. Just put your mask on and shut up. Kind of like the nutcase running California. Do as I say, not as I do. Now he's got curfews. How come so few are questioning how a curfew will help stop the virus?? Does the virus only spread at night??

N95 masks don't filter exhaled air.

Why is he talking about seeing coughs go around the mask? Exhaling isn't meant to be filtered by N95s, it's a 1 way system, it only filters incoming air.

Maybe it helps seal when inhaling too, but that isn't their claim, and isn't necessarily true.

If they say it works like an N95, then it's useless to seal the exhale.

It takes a respirator to stop a virus. Masks do nothing. We don't need anything on our face anyway.

CDC has more or less admitted that masks don't work.

Recently they commented that even wearing a mask if you get closer than 6 ft and have an exposure time of 15 minutes or more a mask is useless.

2nd point, if this new mask "preforms like a N95" why not just use an N95? Is this going to be cheaper, doesn't look like it.

A mask is a filter. Filters, properly designed, work!

At least to some degree. If it's too fine you can't breath. If it is too coarse it's a waste of time, and false security.

As far as the comparisons of mosquitos through poultry wire, or gnats through chain link....BS! The virus ain't got no legs, and it ain't got no wings. it generally needs to hitchhike on something much larger like water droplets. When the droplet gets screened, so does the virus.

The mask is nowhere near 100% effective; but much better than nothing at all. At least, if it is clean to start with.

That said, I don't go running around carrying wooden stakes to protect myself from vampires. If you think you need it, it's better than nothing.
