What wife said about evaluating habitat. Where i am at there is so much habitat change(field edge meets road, meets crop change, meets pond etc.) and its every where.
I catch coyotes every year where the pin is. Guess what the green is surrounding it?(not the trees)

Nobody’s mentioned weather?

Mild, stable weather patterns with ample food sources (gut piles, rodents this time of year) can sure put a damper on movement.

Think those coyotes were getting dead fish or scraps leftover from butchering fish
