put'n the dog on OP trapper Joined: Oct 2012 Jeddo, MI	I’ve never set for beaver but today I got asked to take a few out of a river because they are cutting down all the trees in a gentleman yard. mad_mike trapper M Joined: Jan 2008 49th State	I like two swivels on my beaver footholds and eight inches of chain to the drowning lock. The first swivel with one link between the trap and swivel and the next placed a couple links beyond. This helps to mitigate the wringing of the the front foot.
