If they do I hope they do a combined length and width total. Our beaver tails are long and slender. I caught a 76lber last year and it was just over 7.5 inches wide.

In this time of COVID despair and knowing everything I’ve been gifted through the outdoors, I think it’s time for me to step up and keep this affair going. I’m offering to foot the bill for a 4 oz Dobbins lure for both the largest and the smallest beaver tail caught between now and March 1st.

I agree with the posters before me. We measure bear skull style, greatest length plus greatest width. Send in photos to this thread and we can keep track.

I seem to recall a muskrat side bet in years past. Anyone willing to join me in giving back?

Looks like 12 7/8" + 5 3/4" = 18 5/8" (if i added right). I'll chip in a surprise at the end of the contest.
