One of my traps keeps getting dug up. First time I saw 'yote tracks by the set, 2nd time I didn't notice any. I think it's a coyote thats digging.
Whats something I could do to catch the bugger?

Keep in mind it may circle the set first so set that blind set accordingly.

I had 2 coyotes that were doing the same thing. They would dig the traps out then dig out the bait. I set a second trap in behind the set where they were circling and digging from. Back about 24-30 inches And offset to one side a bit. Had both diggers yesterday. The second trap has to be blended very well.

If you can snare you could get her, it seems if i have a digger it stops after a female gets snared

This one here kicked my butt for a while. It was my first year trapping, and she would find and flip my traps. Finally caught her in a step down set. This set had squirrel meat for bait and dobbins muskrat lure. It was the lure she seemed to like because everywhere I used it she excavated the place.

Lose bedding, peat moss, polyfill? Your 100% its a coyote, your traps gotta be solid yotes will dig lose soil, I use a rusted cultivater shovel on a trap smart coyote I must remove, soaked in (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) mixed with earth scent, if your after numbers move to a new spot...

I've had good luck leaving the snaped trap the way it is and bedding a clean second trap there.
