My stepson was after that one himself. Patten? I've hunted Island Falls quite a bit in the past. I've canoed and kayaked into some nice area down that way.

That’s awesome! I found my first non-typical this season but couldn’t seal the deal. It was nowhere near that big....just average 8 with a few drop tines. Is that genetics that cause that platting look, and can be passed down, or more like a one time thing? One day.....
