So i fleshed and boarded a small mink. First for me. Average dry time is about 3 days ?

Saddle on?If so 3 days should do it if humidity is low.
Saddle off- low humidity1-2 days be fine.
Since mink dont have to be turned,it is better to leave them on a little longer to be sure they are dry than it is to remove them too soon.

So do fleshed mink need the oil wiped off even after they're off the stretcher?
Inspection window should be about 3" from base of tail to the top of window?

What is this SADDLE you speak of?

occasionally an old male mink will have a layer of heavy fat under the saddle. in that case, remove the saddle completely. wipe the oil off whenever it appears. itll give the leather a nice "shine".
