Caught a coyote in a set today. When I got there they coyote was laying there dead. I took the hide off tonight and there is no sign of trauma. Anybody else ever have this happen?

Heart attack I’ve had a rabbit that I release tipped over dead,had one fox dead in a trap once

This is how I found him, very lucky he was caught by 3 toes. Trap no longer on him in this picture.

I had a pup coyote the same way this year he was not in it for very long the set was hardly disturbed

Check the throat if it choked on something maybe.

No brusing on the carcas, no holes nothing. I have had mink do this but nothing else.
